Although translation activities have been carried out with the aim of creating communication between different languages and cultures since the beginning of humanity and languages, there have been developments and changes in the technological tools used in the translation profession with digitalization. With the development of information technologies, the technical tools used by translators have also changed. Today, a translator is required to be skilled in both basic computer technologies such as office programs and internet tools, as well as specialized programs such as machine translation and translation memory systems for translation purposes. As a result of this requirement, information technologies in translation have become a topic that has found its place in the field of translation studies. The purpose of this study is to describe the position of translation programs in translation, which are affected by the changes in information technologies, within the framework of the approaches adopted by students studying translation studies regarding what, where and how to cover them.
