Abstract
Curcumin, the dried ground rhizome of Curcuma longa Linn., is known as zerdeçal in Turkish, Haldi in Hindi, turmeric in English, and ukon in Japanese. Many biological active properties of this plant, which is widely used in Asian medicine, are known. Commercially known curcumin, on the other hand, contains 77 % of curcumin, along with demetoxycurcumin and bis-demethoxycurcumin. Curcumin and its derivatives belong to the group of diarylheptanoids. The effects of curcumin and its two other derivatives, which have been the subject of many studies thanks to their unique therapeutic ability, on the Spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant, which caused the pandemic to be declared at the beginning of 2020, were examined within the scope of this study. According to the results obtained, the binding energies of curcumin, demetoxycurcumin, and bis-demethoxycurcumin to the Spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant are -6.6, -5.5, and -6.0 kcal/mol, respectively. It was determined that curcumin, demetoxycurcumin, and bis-demethoxycurcumin interact with the Spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant through hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interactions, and hydrophobic interactions. These biologically active molecules are thought to be agents that can moderately inhibit the Spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant. In addition, the pharmacokinetic and toxicological properties of these three compounds were calculated with the help of online databases.

Abstract
Sorption methods have found wide application for the preconcentration of radionuclides. Chelating sorbents are of particular interest as sorption material. More efficient is the use of modified forms of the copolymer of maleic anhydride with styrene. For example, chelating sorbents, which are matrices on which organic compounds are fixed [1–18]. Recent publications indicate that the copolymer of maleic anhydride with styrene is a promising matrix for the preparation of chelating sorbents[19-28]. The main goal in the present work is to study the conditions for the preconcentration of uranium(VI) with a new chelating sorbent containing molon acid hydrazide fragments, followed by the determination of these ions by photometric spectrometry to extract uranium(VI) from sea water.

Abstract
Hirshfeld Surface Analysis has been widely used in recent years to investigate intermolecular interactions. Fingerprint graphs allow for the quantitative analysis of intermolecular interaction types. In this study, Hirshfeld surface analyzes of complexes trans-Diaquabis(4-fluorobenzoato-κO)bis(nicotinamide-κN1)nickel(II) (Complex I) and Bis(4-fluorobenzoato-κ2O,O′)bis(nicotinamide-κN1)zinc(II) monohydrate (Complex II) were made with the help of CrystalExplorer 17.5 Program and dnorm maps, shape indices, curvature maps were obtained and intermolecular interaction percentages were determined by two-dimensional fingerprint graphics. The most important intermolecular interaction of all complexes is H ... H interactions. In addition, the dominant H ... O / O ... H interactions in the structure are thought to originate from the O-H ... O hydrogen bonds found in all crystal structures. The adjacent red-blue triangles seen in the shape index plots support the existence of C-H ... π and π-π interactions between the benzene and pyridine rings. These interactions have also been determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction method and contribute significantly to the stability of the crystal packing of the complexes.

Abstract
At the beginning of his life, mankind started to use plants for therapeutic purposes. Many drugs used in modern medicine are also derived from plants. Although plants are used in the field of alternative medicine (used in place of medical treatment) today, the correct thing is to use them in the field of complementary medicine. The use of complementary medicine is based on the use of the plant together with medical treatment [1]. If plants are not used consciously for therapeutic purposes, human health may deteriorate while trying to be treated. Because there are many important parameters such as the application dose, whether the right plant is used, its side effects, whether it will trigger other diseases, and its toxic effects. For this reason, scientists who work on the potential of plants to be medicine have important duties. Tribulus terrestris L. is a plant known in Turkey as “deve çökerten”, “çoban çökerten” and “çarık dikeni”. The plant is so called because its fruit has horn-shaped spikes. The medicinal and pharmaceutical importance of the plant is based on its steroidal saponin content. There are limited studies on the effect of T. terrestris L. extracts, which have been reported to have low cytotoxicity on healthy cells in many studies, on different cancer cells [2]. In this context, in this study, cytotoxic effects of ultrapure aqueous extracts of Tribulus terrestris L. obtained by ultrasonic wave-assisted extraction method were investigated on the colon (DLD-1), breast (MCF-7), and prostate (PC-3) cancer cells and human peripheral blood lymphocyte cells (PBMC) were investigated by the MTT Method. Extracts were prepared in the concentration range of 7.81-1000 µg/mL. As the concentration of the plant increased, it was determined that human peripheral blood lymphocyte cell viability increased. In this determined concentration range, the plant caused a moderate cytotoxic effect on the colon (DLD-1), breast (MCF-7), and prostate (PC-3) cancer cells.

Abstract
The kinetics and thermodynamics of the process of sorption of chromium (VI) ions by the anion exchanger were studied. Certain kinetic and thermodynamic parameters show that the anionite has a high tendency to chromium (VI) ions, and its resistance to strong oxidizing agents is due to the presence of strong basic groups in the composition. The processes of sorption and desorption of chromium (VI) ions by the synthesized anion exchanger under dynamic conditions have been studied. The results obtained indicate that the anion exchanger is chemically stable and can be used repeatedly. Thus, the obtained ion-exchange fibrous sorbents are promising for use in hydrometallurgy, in the purification of industrial wastewater from toxic chromium (VI) ions.

Abstract
Man-made changes on the planet occur so quickly that they can be compared with geological disasters. Despite all human efforts aimed at minimizing the negative consequences of human life on the planet, man has changed and continues to change the living environment to one degree or another. The study of the hydrology and hydrochemistry of the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system (AAKT), that is, the quantity, composition, mineralization of water, the analysis of oxygen content, nitrogen compounds, heavy metals, the study of the morphology and biological potential of the area on the scientific base plays an important role in the development of fishing and ecological tourism . For this reason, we studied the ecological condition of the water of a large lake in the territory of Uzbekistan, carried out monitoring of pollution with heavy metals, and set the main task of studying the pollution of heavy metals associated with ecotoxicants. In the article, water contours in the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system (AALS) are analyzed by photocolometric analysis. The ecological status of AALS was analyzed through the chemical composition of water.
