Abstract
Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Urdu poetry, which lived and created in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is of great importance in modern Eastern literature with its literary and aesthetic purpose and artistic value. The main idea of his lyrics is formed by socio-philosophical motifs, the Islamic environment and the surrounding world, Sufi motifs and the concept of a perfect personality. The poems in Iqbal's books "The Bell of Movement", "The Wing of Gabriel", "The Blow of Moses", "The Armament of Hejaz" – ghazals, rubais, continents, stand out for their richness and comprehensiveness in terms of theme and content and are the most perfect examples of poetry in Urdu poetry. Although the artistic text and internal structure of Muhammad Iqbal's poetry are based on the genre system of Eastern poetry, his ideological and aesthetic purpose, embracing the contemporary problematics of the Muslim world, changes the artistic, logical and associative shades of traditional themes, and infuses them with innovative, modern content. Iqbal's poetic works, combined with their humanistic content, high patriotic orientation, human optimism and belief in the victory of good over evil, have not lost their modernity and significance to this day. Here is a translation of some of the poet's poems dedicated to the literary and cultural problematics of poetry.
