Abstract
Professor Mehmet Kaplan analyzed the poems of 34 poets from Akif Pasha to Yahya Kemal in his book "Poetry Analysis I" (1952), and from Faruk Nafiz Çamlibel to Nazim Hikmet Ran in his book "Poetry Analysis II", first published in 1965, in which they best characterized themselves. Among these poets are Kemalettin Kamu, Ali Mumtaz Arolat, Necip Fazil Kısakurek, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpinar, Muhip Diranas, Cahit Sitkı Taranci, Fazıl Hüsnü Dağlarca, Oktay Rifat, Asaf Halet Çelebi, Behçet Necatigil, Necati Cumali, Attila İlhan, Cemal Sureya, Cahit Kulebi, Turgut Uyar, Bekir Sitkı Erdoghan, Mustafa Seyit Sutuven, Sezai Karakoch and others. The mentioned work attracted great interest, and in 1973, 36 poets were added to it and published under the title "Turkish Poetry of the Republic Period". This article provides a translation of the author's analysis of Faruk Nafiz Çamlibel.
