Abstract
Karabakh and East Zangezur are among the most historically, culturally, and naturally rich regions of Azerbaijan. For centuries, these territories have served as important centers of culture and trade in the Caucasus, distinguished by their architectural monuments, ancient cities, and breathtaking landscapes. The heritage of the Karabakh Khanate, cultural capital cities such as Shusha, and the ongoing recon-struction efforts in Fuzuli, Zangilan, and Gubadli play a vital role in the region’s future development. Meanwhile, East Zangezur, with its strategic location and abundant natural resources, strengthens Azer-baijan’s economic and ecological potential.
