Abstract
The article analyzes the tourism-recreational potential of the northeastern slope landscapes of the Greater Caucasus. As a result of the conducted research, 8 landscape-ecological regions were distinguished on the northeastern slope of the Greater Caucasus. Recreational resources were grouped according to the degree of suitability of the territory. The northeastern slope landscapes of the Greater Caucasus are among the areas of Azerbaijan with rich recreational potential and ecotourism resources. Modern landscape complexes of the territory, covering the territories from the shores of the Caspian Sea to the Greater Caucasus Watershed, have under-gone complex altitudinal-spatial and sectoral (from northwest to southeast) differentiation.
